What changed in July 2026
Depop announced that from 22 July 2026 sellers based in Australia pay no selling fee on sales in Australian dollars. Before that, Depop took 10%. To make up for it, buyers pay a marketplace fee of "up to 5% of the item purchase price (excluding taxes and shipping costs), plus up to $1 AUD".
Payment processing
Depop's fee page lists payment processing for Australia at 2.6% + $0.30, charged on the item price plus postage. It comes out of what you receive.
Boosts
Boost is Depop's paid promotion. If a sale comes from a Boosted listing, Depop's fee page lists 8% for sellers outside the UK and US, which includes Australia. It's charged on the item price, and on postage too if you didn't use a Depop shipping label. Boosts are optional, so the calculator only adds the fee if you tick the box.
Postage
You set the postage price in your listing. Charge what it really costs, or build it into the price. See the postage guide.
